We have a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Senior Java developer with a client in San Diego. This organization is just beginning an Agile transformation, and we are looking
for a senior developer who can help them along this path.
In order to manage implementation risk, the candidate must have the ability to break problems down and deliver value incrementally.
Below you*ll find the list of qualifications.
Technology Stack: You should have solid skills in the following or a demonstrated ability to pick up the technology quickly.
* Java - Must have solid java experience.
* Spring.
* Front end technologies such as: Spring MVC, JavaScirpt / AJAX, HTML, JSP/JSTL
* OO Design and common design patterns - Must be able to solve problems in a simple, neat and organized way.
* Web Services * Candidates with either strong SOAP or REST based experience will be given priority.
* SQL (Oracle) - Strong SQL skills are required.
* Unix deployment experience.
Process / Methodology requirements:
* Agile - We are big agile buffs, and looking for someone with the ability to deliver quality, unit tested solutions.
* Must have practical TDD experience
* Must have experience working in an agile environment of some flavor.
* Must have experience working with Continuous Integration.
Skills in the following areas are a plus.
* iBatis or Hibernate.
This is a contract-to-hire position located in Dallas, Texas.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
